LYCEE
In 17 days I will have to stand in front of over 100 7th and 8th graders and teach them science. New teacher orientation starts next Monday, and Lee started work yesterday, so this week I have nothing to do. Kind of. I actually have an endless amount of things to do in order to prepare for my first year of teaching, but I have done absolutely nothing. Instead I sit on the couch all day watching DVR'd episodes of Intervention while sobbing uncontrollably. Yesterday I tried to iron Lee's shirts, but quickly realized that I am as bad at ironing as I am at cooking. Oh yeah, I also rode my bike to Fry's to get some dishwasher detergent. One thing that I do consider myself to be really good at is cleaning. So our house will always be spotless, even when I actually have something to do during the day. When Lee gets home from work (he hasn't started working nights yet) we watch movies. We've watched all three Bourne movies, Charlie Wilson's War, and Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, all during the last week. I've also been sorting through my old scrapbooks, and looking for my college diploma, which I'm pretty sure I have lost since receiving in the mail three weeks ago. Oops.
