Lee works 6PM-6AM every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday. On those days we like to meet somewhere at about 9PM to eat together. It's hard to find places to eat that are open late and are located somewhere in between his work, and our house. We usually end up at Mimi's Cafe, and that's getting pretty gross, especially since Mimi's is no longer anything like it was when we were in high school. Tonight we discovered that Lone Butte Casino, off the 202 in south Chandler, has a cafe that's open 24 hours, so we met there at 10:30.
This place was amazing. It was huge and brand new, and I felt like I was in Las Vegas. It was also really busy for 10:30 on a Tuesday night. The cafe was pretty nice, except it was hard to enjoy a meal with the overwhelming cigarette smoke covered up by air freshener scent. I had no idea that you could smoke cigarettes inside a casino.
