Property Virgins

Lee and I are looking to buy a house this summer. This should be a really exciting experience, but so far it's been pretty stressful. I don't think that either of us ideally want to live where we do, but since Lee works in south Chandler, we're sort of stuck in the Tempe/Ahwatukee/South Mountain/Chandler area which, in my opinion, is kind of gross and not where I imagined I would be buying my first house. Still, we are looking, and are hoping to find something that works for us. I would like a house that is either old enough to be charming and cute (impossible in Phoenix), or new enough to be modern and clean. We found a new house that was beautiful, but unfortunately was built by Engle who went out of business halfway through the construction of the neighborhood, so our dream house is surrounded by empty lots that might never be filled. On Thursday we're going to start looking at homes in south Chandler. Depressing, I know. I wish that we could go on Property Virgins and let Sandra find us the perfect house.



Too bad we don't live in Toronto.
