Whole Different Demographic

Today at orientation I learned that I should not be surprised if my students come to school dressed like this:

or wearing these:

...because they're art students and they like to be "unique".

So I was busy asking questions like, "Can they wear their hoods on inside?" and "What is the schools' policy concerning tattoos and piercings?" (because these were huge issues last year), when what I should have been asking was, "How does the school feel about antennae?"

Also, this year I'll be teaching the Kinetic Theory of Matter. Last year I was making fill-in-the-blank note-taking guides.
