That's not the best picture; the one's I'm remembering were higher and had a large swirl pattern on the side. I think they were "Soda" brand, but I can't find any pictures anywhere on the internet. I think about them a lot because all of the most popular girls had them (I could tell you all their names), and I wanted to be popular so badly back then, but I never got any. Maybe because I couldn't bring myself to draw that much attention to myself, or maybe because deep down I knew they were the most awful looking shoes ever. Oh, I just found a better picture, still not perfect:

Hey girl, I didn't see this post until now. I think I had a pair of Soda brand platform sneakers too! They were only like 3 inches tall though. I wanted some like the Spice Girls had sooo bad but my mom wouldn't let me get them and I was really tall anyway. We weren't allowed to wear them at school though.
