Not Worth It

Of course, I couldn't just get my wisdom teeth out, heal, and be all better by Christmas. The pain has been getting worse and worse, and the pain pills I was given take 45 minutes to take effect, then last for an hour and 40 minutes. I have two left, so I called the oral surgeon to get a refill. They want me to come in at 11 this morning so that they can make sure that I don't have dry sockets. I don't know what dry sockets feel like, but it's been a very painful week. I haven't slept for more than 2 hours at a time or eaten anything substantial since last Thursday and have lost over 5 pounds. I don't want to go back to the dentist because the thought of someone examining my mouth right now makes me nauseous, but I do want to not be in excruciating pain on Christmas day.
